Raiders advance in district baseball tournament
The Central High School Red Raider baseball team came from behind for a 6-1 victory Tuesday in the first game of a best-of-three semifinal round against Warren County.
Playing at Powers Field, the Pioneers scored in the second inning and held CHS hitless for the first three frames. Then, in the bottom of the fourth, Coffee County sent 11 batters to the plate and scored all of their runs for the game. Meeker struck out five and walked none in seven innings on the mound.

The Red Raiders are set to play Warren County again Wednesday in McMinnville. If Warren County wins Wednesday, the series would be decided Thursday. Depending on the outcome district semifinal series, the District 6-AAA championship game will be played either Thursday or Friday.
