Manchester’s 14-year-old all-stars won their second game of the Babe Ruth state tournament with a 4-2 victory over Elizabethton.

Elizabethton took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the third, but Manchester tied the score in the top of the fourth when catcher Grant Sadler singled to drive in Zane Slater and Garrett Eldridge.

Manchester scored two more in the fifth after Alan Rob knocked in Noah Anderson with a line drive just out of the third baseman’s reach and Alex Hobbs scored Rob on the second hit of the inning.

Bradley King pitched four shutout innings in relief for the win.

Sunday at 1 p.m. Manchester takes on Cookeville at Powers Field behind Central High School.
