CHS downs Warren County in volleyball
The Coffee County Central High School volleyball squad bounced back from a tough loss Monday to beat Warren County in three straight games Tuesday at Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym.
The Lady Raiders won 25-17, 25-19 and 25-15. Seniors Hayley Banks and Kelsey Munn led the team with 12 and 8 kills, respectively. Senior Hollie Moore had 9 assists, and Brittany Williams was second with eight. Williams, Tyger Fenton and Cameron Davis each served 3 aces, and Banks notched 2 blocks.
The win against the Lady Pioneers was a welcome change of momentum after a hard-fought, five-game loss at home to White County on Monday.
Coffee County travels to Eagleville Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match.
