In the annual cross-county middle school football matchup, Coffee County had what looked like a comfortable, 36-22 lead at halftime. But the Wildcats shut out the Raiders 16-0 in the second half to win 38-36.
All of Tullahoma’s second-half points came in the third quarter.
The win for Tullahoma allowed the Wildcats to lay claim to the middle school Coffee Cup, created this year by Tullahoma parents Bryan and Tamarra Henry for the winner of the annual middle school football game.
In addition to the middle school trophy, Tullahoma High School also currently holds the Coffee Cup given to the winner of the annual men’s soccer match between Tullahoma and Central High School….
