Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Alene Harmon, age 82, of Beech Grove, were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vaughn Konrath officiating. Burial followed in Gnat Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the Harmon family was from 5-9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Harmon passed away Wednesday morning at Medical Center of Manchester. Mrs. Harmon was born in Coffee County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Jim and Dollie Thompson Fletcher. She was a bus driver for Headstart and Senior Citizens and was a member of the Gnat Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harmon was also preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Harmon, who passed away in 1987; five brothers, Roland, Hubert, Hodge, Willie and Thurman Fletcher; four sisters, Evelyn McCandles, Lorene Todd, Thelma Holt, and Blanche Patton. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Kenneth) Jernigan of Beech Grove and Mae Goodwin of San Antonio, Texas; and five grandchildren, Andy Jernigan, Christa (Joey) Gans, Tammy Goodwin, Margaret Goodwin, and David Goodwin. Memorial services for Robert Baird “Robbie” Reel, age 62, of Manchester, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with the Reel family will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Reel passed away Sunday evening at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Reel was born in Jellico, Tennessee the son of the late Smedley Reel and Eleanor Baird Reel. He was a former employee of Four Star Music in Nashville where he was a talent evaluator. Mr. Reel is survived by: one sister, Jane Cunningham of Manchester; two brothers, George Reel of Manchester, John Reel of Gold Hills, Oregon; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Mrs. Ethel G. Williams Matlock, age 89, of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her residence. Ethel was widowed by Carl Williams and Fred Matlock. Mrs. Matlock was preceded in death her parents, William Clancy and Margaret Gertrude Long Martin, by a son Bradley Ray Hunsaker, sister, Lillian Draggoo, brother, William Wesley Martin, grandson, Tommy Hunsaker, and great granddaughter, Emberly Lynn Petty. She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Dean Hunsaker and husband John Beck of Palmdale, California, Carla Kay Williams of Tullahoma, Debra Williams Prince and husband Bruce of Winchester, Dana Carol Williams of Tullahoma, four sons, Wayne Spence and wife Jeannie of Salem, Oregon, William Lee Hunsaker and wife Karen of Lancaster, California, Robert O’neal Hunsaker and wife Linda of Mesquite, Nevada, Buddy Eugene Hunsaker of Paso Robles, California, brother-n-law, Robert Draggoo, eighteen grandchildren, and a large family of great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Ethel Williams Matlock was a loving and devoted mother to her nine children. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Mrs. Ethel loved attending church and singing in the church choir. She was a strong woman with a devout faith who taught her children to love and trust the Lord. Ethel was a seamstress as well as working outside the home and made it a priority to teach the basics of life to her family and loved ones. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Her family and the Lord were her life. Mr. Russell Dee Riddle, Jr., age 66, of Tullahoma, TN., passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at his residence. A native of Tullahoma, Tn., he was the son of the late Russell Dee Riddle, Sr. and Verna Merritt Riddle. Mr. Riddle was a member of the National Guard and was retired from the University of South Central Florida where he worked as an office technician. While working there, he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Oceanography. He was an avid fisherman and a collector of antique fishing gear. Mr. Riddle’s passion during his life was music. He was an accomplished musician, having traveled the United States for eight years with his band, “Trilly Cole and the Capers”. In the 1960’s he helped form a high school band, “Uncalled For”. The band enjoyed success with a Number 1 Billboard chart topper, “Do Like Me”. The “Uncalled Fors” recently joined together for a reunion concert and performed at Bonaroo in 2011. Mr. Riddle is survived by his step mother Sue Riddle of Estill Springs, Tenn., sisters Linda Riddle Rochelle of Canandaigua, N.Y. and Wanda Riddle Ashley of Nashville, Tenn., brother-in-law Don (Wendy Hall) Rochelle of Tullahoma, nephews David (Jennie) Halton of Shortsville, N.Y., Vincent Thibedeau of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Paul (Tina) Thibedeau of Joelton, Tenn., Kyle (Tammy) Garner of Decherd, Tenn., and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home. Mr. Lavoy Dean Clutts, age 74, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
