Three Coffee County youth golfers were part of the winning team at this year’s Tennessee Junior Cup.

The East team, which included CHS seniors Andy Stout and Matt Johnson, along with St. Andrews-Sewanee student Jenna Burris,  defeated the West team. The East team competed under coach Scott Stallings, PGA tour professional.

They played alternate shot matchplay on Saturday morning, four ball match play on Saturday afternoon and singles match play on Sunday morning.

Jenna Burris was named the East team female MVP. She went undefeated by winning all three of her matches.

The Grove announced this week that this event has a lifetime home at their course. They, along with Scott Stallings, were presented with flags signed by all of the junior cup players. The teams were made up of the top 10 boys/top 4 girls from the west and the top 10 boys/top 4 girls from the East
