SAFE ON HALLOWEEN: thousands fill rec center for safe trick or treating

Thousands of ghosts, goblins, zombies, ball players, Batmans and Supermans filled the Manchester Recreation Center Thursday afternoon for the Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center Safe on the Square event. The event was moved inside due to rainy weather and the threat of storms.

Other Manchester area trick-or-treating is still a go for Thursday evening. The city did not decide to make any sort of proclomation rescheduling trick-or-treating as some area cities decided to do.
