Two women have been arrested and another is expected to be arrested in connection with a charge of prostitution and robbery that recently took place in Manchester.
Lena Arp, 27, of Dixie Court, Manchester was charged with robbery and violation of probation and Lisa M. Lemons, 36, of Park Motel, located on the Hillsboro Boulevard in Manchester, was charged with robbery, prostitution and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both are being held in the Coffee County Jail under a bond of $30,000. They are both scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court on Dec. 6.
According to a report by Manchester Police Department Officer Mitchell West, on Nov. 13 Lisa Lemons flagged down Carlos Manuel Jimenz Del Cid as he passed the Park Motel in Manchester and asked if he would be interested in having sex with her friend. When Del Cid asked how much, Lemons told him that the price would be $100.
So he agreed to the price and entered a room in the motel with Lemons. When he entered the room Arp and another woman were in the room along with two young males. When he paid his money everyone except the woman he was to have sex with left the room. That woman has not been arrested at this time but warrants have been obtained for her arrest. When Del Cid removed his clothes the woman knocked on the door and the other people re-entered the room. Lemons held Del Cid’s arms behind him and Arp grabbed his pants and took his wallet. All of them then left the room.
When Del Cid left the room one of the teenage boys handed him his wallet and when he looked inside he found that $3,500 was missing from it. He then called 911. Officers Matt Aussiker and Ernie Colvin obtained permission to search Lemons’ room at the motel. The officers located $2,600 of the man’s money was in Lemons’ jacket.
One of the teenage boys is facing drug charges as officers located two hypodermic needles in his sock.
Manchester Police Department Investigators Billy Butler, Stuart Colwell and Jonathan Anthony are investigating the incident.
