Lady Raiders beat Nashville Christian, fall to Warren Co.

Friday the Lady Raider basketball team defeated Nashville Christian in the Ezell-Harding Christmas tournament 59-47. It was the third win in a row for CHS.

Lauren Brown led the way with 18 points, followed by Cameron Davis with nine and Tyger Fenton with eight.

Saturday afternoon the Lady Raiders found themselves in a defensive struggle, falling to Warren County 40-38. It was the first loss of the week for Coffee County and was the final game of the tournament for the team.

Coffee County led 11-9 at the end of the first but trailed 22-20 at the half. After three periods of play the game was tied 33-33.

Brown was once again the leading scorer for CHS with 12 points.
