With just over two minutes to go in the third quarter Anthony Jackson hit a layup to tie Hume-Fogg 32-32 Friday night in the Murfressboro Central Magnet Classic. The Raiders had trailed since early in the first quarter of the game and looked to pickup a second comeback win in the last three games.
Hume-Fogg had other plans however, outscoring CHS 9-3 in the final two minutes to take a 39-35 lead into the final stanza.
The Raiders fell apart in the fourth, giving up 25 points while scoring just 17, falling 64-52. Lucas Crismond was the leading scorer for CHS with 12 points.
The Raiders led 4-0 early before Hume-Fogg went on a 9-0 run to take a lead they would never surrender.
Thursday night the Raiders fell to DCA 54-48 after leading 24-15 at the half.
Crismond was also the leading scorer in that game with 21 points.
