Tullahoma man charged with murder in elderly father’s death

Ricky Brazier, 57, of 819 Marbury Rd., Tullahoma, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the Monday death of his father, Edward Brazier, 82, of the same address.

According to investigators with the Tullahoma Police Department, a 911 call was received Monday morning from the Marbury Road address in which the caller said, “I’ve killed my father.”

Police responded to the call at approximately noon, where they found the body of Edward Brazier. According to a report from the police, the father and son had been involved in a domestic dispute, with Ricky Brazier allegedly assaulting his father.”

No motive has been established for the alleged killing,, police say.

Edward Brazier’s body has been transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Nashville, where a cause of death will be determined…
