Manchester native arrested on child pornography charges
Dylan Quandt, 22, of Keylon Street, Manchester, was arrested Thursday at a residence on Mercury Blvd in Murfreesboro by the FBI on child porn charges.
The MTSU student is accused in federal indictments of having “hundreds” of images of child pornography on his computer.
His arrest came about from work by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) operated for the FBI by the Winchester Police Department. According to investigators, the ICAC unit learned of him sharing the child porn online. After investigating the incidents, the FBI seized Quandt’s computer and had analyzed and allegedly learned that he had the child porn on the computer.
He was indicted by a federal grand jury in Chattanooga. He is being arraigned today (Friday) before a federal magistrate in Chattanooga.
