Coffee County Central High School came from behind to beat Warren County 3-2 Monday night in the District 6-AAA semi-finals in Sparta and advance to the district title game Tuesday night.
The Lady Raiders won an exciting set one 25-22 before the Lady Pioneers got on a roll in games two and three, winning 25-10 and 25-20, respectively.
But Coffee County came roaring back in set four, picking up a 25-15 win. In the deciding the Lady Raiders completed the improbable comeback with a 15-10 to take the match 3-2. Coffee County will play for the championship at 7 p.m. Tuesday night in Sparta. The win also puts the Lady Raiders into the Region 3-AAA tournament regardless of the district title outcome.
Hayley Banks led Coffee County with 14 blocks, six assists and five aces. Brooke Carter had seven aces and Hollie Moore stepped up with 33 assists to lead Coffee County.
