Joint investigation leads to marijuana find

After a lengthy joint investigation, Coffee County deputies and the Manchester police department

Authorities found paraphernalia and a pound of marijuana inside 600 A Oakdale St. Tuesday.

seized approximately a pound of marijuana from a residence on Oakdale Street in Manchester. Deputy James Sherrill and Manchester officer Jonathan Anthony seized the pot after making a traffic stop and then went to the Oakdale address. In addition to the marijuana the officers found various drug paraphernalia. The value of the marijuana was placed at $4,000. Sherrill noted that this on going investigation will be presented to the Coffee County Grand Jury.
