CHS girls come from behind to win; boys fall at Tullahoma
The Coffee County High School Lady Raiders staged a dramatic fourth-period comeback to defeat Tullahoma 39-36. In the boys’ game, the Red Raiders lost 55-41.
Katie Reid led the Coffee County comeback in the fourth quarter with 8 of the team’s 13 points, including two of two free-throws. Alaina Lusk also sank both her free-throws in the fourth, and Missy Jones and Ginny Clayborne

each added a field goal in the comeback.
For the night, Reid led all scorers with 12. Lusk and Clayborne each had 10, Tyger Fenton scored 6, and Jones had 2. Putting points on the board for Tullahoma were Katie Lett (9), Kaylah Bland (7), Kentoria Alexander (6), Erin Layne (6), Anastasia Weddington (4), Daja Morris (2), and Ashley McDonald (2).
In the boys game Tullahoma was successful in disrupting the Red Raiders’ defense and capitalizing on their own possessions.
Lance Crismond was top scorer for Coffee County with 14 and was followed by Lucas Crismond with 11. Anthony Jackson scored 8, Adison Carter 4, Luke Elam 3, and Brock Ivy-Bodman 1.
Tullahoma’s Marquel Hickerson led all scorers with 19. Also scoring for the Wildcats were Zane Price (12), Tyler Fishback (10), Justin Hill (6), Dre Braston (5), Joseph London (2), and Dalton Cox (1).
The Lady Raiders are now 5-4 on the seasson. The Red Raiders are 3-6.
