CHS loses both games to Lincoln County

The Lady Raiders nearly made up for a slow start against Lincoln County at home, but a three-point bucket at the final buzzer put Lincoln County up 46-43.

The Red Raiders, who trailed throughout their game, lost 65-54 to the Falcons.

Alaina Lusk led the Lady Raiders in scoring with 13, followed by Ginny Clayborne with 11. Also scoring for Coffee County were Ta’Neesa Buchanan (7), Katie Reid (5), Sara Brown (4), and Michaela Gregory (2). Leading the Lady Falcons in points were Courtney Story (12) and Morgan Higgins (11).

For the boys, Lucas Crismond was top scorer with 26, followed by Lucas Crismond with 14 and Anthony Jackson with 12. Brock Ivey-Bodman contributed 2.

B.J. Thompson led the Lincoln County offense with 23. Justin Blackwell was second with 14.

On Monday night Central High School hosts Franklin County. The girls’ game starts at 6 p.m.
