The event centers around a fashion show organized by This & That From Here & There, in Manchester, Millie’s Bridal &Formal Shoppe, in Tullahoma, and Lawson’s Tuxedos, in Manchester. It will be held from 1:30-3 p.m.

Models ranging from 2-year-olds to mothers-of-the bride will sport the latest 2013 fashions to live music performed by the Ultimate Oldies Singers.

“It will cover all aspects of formal wear…[including] bridal, prom, formal and special occasions,” said Lynn Bryce of Millie’s.

Tickets for the show will be $10 and will include romantic rocking performances by the Ultimate Oldies singers.

“We got everything from country to rocking love songs,” said “Oldies” creator Jamie Harden. “We’re going to do some classic wedding and love songs.”

Harden said the group enjoyed mixing it up for a different genre.

“It’s not what we’re used to doing, but it’s…fun doing the romantic stuff. We’re [also] going to have some rock ’n’ roll in there.”

The lineup will include Kenny Rogers’ “Islands in the Stream,” and Aerosmith love songs, as well as other more traditional love songs and even a nod to Nat King Cole.
Judy Skelton, of From This & That, said, she likes the rock ’n’ roll.

“I’m going to have my girls walk to rock ’n’ roll.”

Models will walk in flowergirl dresses, pageant wear and wedding attire.

“We’re going to mix it up and make it interesting,” she said. “We’re going to make it fun.”
Over 25 models will walk in the show. Mothers-of-bride and grandmothers-of-bride will show, along with toddlers, teens and adults.

It will be fashion fun attire, the organizers say.
The clothiers added that local shops provide valuable customer service.

Entry to the vendor area is free. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
A bridal registry will also begin at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets for the fashion show are available at the door for $10. Proceeds will go to the programs and upkeep of the Manchester Arts Center.
Door prizes will be given away, including two Millennium Repertory Company season passes.
