Manchester Chamber of Commerce launches new website

Since March of last year the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce has been hard at work creating a more user and business-friendly website.

That website – www.manchestertnchamber.org – launched last month, bringing with it a friendly user-interface that includes links to local government, lodging, restaurants, a complete members directory and a scrolling what’s happening section to keep locals informed of area business news.

“We have been working hard on this website for quite some time now,” said chamber executive director Susie McEacharn. “We want to provide all the resources that anyone might need when looking for information on our community, whether it be the types of businesses and services we offer or the hotels we have available to stay. It really promotes Manchester and growth in Manchester.”
Many of the directories provide links directly to business websites.

“We are still fine-tuning some things but we are very proud of it,” added McEacharn.

McEacharn added that the website is also more friendly for her staff to update.

“This is set up so we can update it right from our office and we aren’t dependent on sending the information to someone else and having it updated. That allows us to update it quicker,” she said…
