Manchester police investigating possible child abduction attempt
Manchester Police are investigating an incident of possible attempted child abduction.
Kayla and Matt Riley of South Spring Street reported to police that their sons were walking to school when the older of the two remembered he had left something at home. While he returned home the younger of the two waited on him.
While the younger boy was waiting, a gold car pulled up and asked if he was waiting on someone and the boy stated that he was waiting on his brother.
The woman then, according to the police report, told him that it was cold and asked if he want to get in her car. The boy told her no because his “dad told him that he can’t get in a car with anyone.”
Sarah Roth who lives nearby stated that she saw the young boy and noticed the car pulled beside him and that after a while she heard the boy say no to the driver. The report states that Roth explained that she “could tell in the boy’s face that he was scared.”
Roth then got into her vehicle and pulled in front of the other woman’s car. The driver then drove away.
Roth described the vehicle as a gold Nissan Altima with tinted windows. The driver was a white female between the ages of 25-35 with dirty blond shoulder length hair and weighed 130 to 140 pounds
