Manchester Rec. Department to hold Easter egg hunts March 23
Manchester Parks and Recreation department will hold its spring egg hunt on March 23.
The 2-7-year-old’s hunt will be held at 1 p.m. at Fred Deadman Park
The 8-12 year-old’s hunt will be at 8 p.m. at the Babe Ruth Field at Fred Deadman.
This hunt will take place in the dark; please provide your child with a flashlight.
All participants must bring their own basket or bag to hold their eggs.
Both egg hunts are free.
The Rec. Complex will hold a free underwater egg hunt at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23.
Pre-registration is required and only the first 100 registrants will be accepted. All participants will receive a goody bag.
Youth aged 3-5 years old will hunt in the kiddie pool and parents may assist.
Ages 6-8 will hint in the Ramp/Therapy pool, and youth aged 9-11 will be in the shallow end of the lap pool.
All non-swimmers must wear a floatation device.
Children will try to find eggs that float and other ones that sink.
Organizers suggest bringing goggles and something to place your eggs in.
The Slide into Spring event will be at 12 p.m.
A $1-per-participant fee will be charged. Proceeds will go to buying pool lifejackets.
