Lady Raiders lose to Baylor
For the second time this season, the Central High School-Baylor softball game was decided by one run.
The similarities stop there, however–most importantly with Baylor on top this time.
While Friday afternoon’s 1-0 contest in the Coffee County Classic included only one run between the teams, their March 21 meeting in Chattanooga was 12-11 slugfest. In that game Anna Spellings led the CHS offensive attack with three home runs. This time the Lady Raiders didn’t manage that many hits as a team in a game cut short in the top of the fourth due to time restrictions.
