CHS baseball coach Brent Whitlock will step down at the end of the season

By Josh Peterson, editor The Manchester Times has learned that Central High School head baseball coach Brent Whitlock will step down as head coach at the end of this season. Whitlock told the team Thursday morning after turning in his resignation to school administration earlier this week. The Raiders are fresh off a two-game series sweep of Franklin County in district play and have hovered around a .500 overall record

    CHS soccer Monday night at Carden-Jarrell Field District 8-AAA’s top team, Columbia, used a goal off a deflected save in the fifth minute to claim a 1-0 win over the Central High School Red Raiders.
