Midget Raiders On Top

Midget Raiders score 52 points in the shut out victory over the Cookeville Cavaliers. Raiders Defense was very stingy not allowing a single first down. This puts the Raiders in first place with a record of 4-0. Raiders will be hosting the Blue Raiders of McMinnville this Saturday at 1:30 PM at Dyer Boldin Field at Westwood middle.

    A winter indoor soccer league is now forming for matches to be played at the Manchester Recreation Center on Sunday afternoons beginning Nov. 17. Age divisions will run from U6 to U14. Teams will be co-ed only if required. Format will be 4-on-4 with goalkeeper for U8-U14 and 3-on-3 with no goalkeeper for U6. Each team will play a minimum of eight games.     Saturday the Manchester Midget Falcons finished their season 4-3 with a 20-6 win over the Cowan Purple Lions. The Falcons’ offense was led by Konor Heaton with two touchdowns.     The Southern Middle Tennessee Youth Football Association playoffs were held Saturday in Sparta, and the Manchester PeeWee Falcons won 44-6 over the Warren County Red Pioneers.
