The Central High School basketball teams both lost to Shelbyville in District 8-AAA play Tuesday night.
The Lady Raiders only trailed by five points at the half but the Golden Eaglettes took control in the final two quarters and won 58-33.
Senior Kelsey Munn led CHS with 10 points in the game. The loss dropped the Lady Raiders to 0-7 in District 8-AAA play and 5-14 overall.
In the nightcap the Raiders jumped out to an early 7-0 lead before the Eagles took control of the game and cruised to a 70-53 win.
Lucas Crismond had a career night for CHS, netting 33 points while J.P. Duncan was the second leading scorer with seven.
The loss drops the Raiders to 5-12 overall and 2-5 in District 8-AAA.
