The Central High School boys and girls golf teams boosted their records to 44-2-1 and 28-7, respectively, with strong showings Monday at the Hendersonville Invitational.
The Red Raiders tied for first with host team Hendersonville with a 313. Top shooters for Coffee County were Matt Johnson (75), Andy Stout (76), Kyle Johnson (77) and Jacob Prater (85).
The Lady Raiders placed fifth overall with a 165. CHS’s Hollee Sadler finished third indivually with a 77.
The boys play again Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. when they host the WillowBrook Invitational. The girls play at WillowBrook at 4 p.m. Thursday against Grundy County.
