Citizens Tri-County Bank in Tullahoma robbed at gunpoint

The West Lincoln Street branch of Citizens Tri-County Bank was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

According to information received from the Tullahoma Police Department, a white male entered the bank and approached a teller to demand money while displaying a firearm. He then fled the scene, headed southbound on Collins Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 50-60 years old, about 6’2” tall, thinly built, and wearing a ski mask, cap and gloves.

According to police, he may have been driving a red S-10 pickup truck with plastic duct-taped over a broken window.

The police also report that the suspect was wearing a red satin jacket with “Alabama” or “Arkansas” emblazoned on the back.

The armed robbery is being investigated jointly by the FBI and the TPD.
