A benefit for heart attack victim Robert Marcom will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Summitville United Methodist Church, beginning with a fish fry from 4-8 p.m.. An auction will be at 7 p.m. and will include a raffle for a Smith and Wesson .38 Special handgun. Entertainment will by Amelia Eishenhour. Marcom had a severe heart attack on March 3, hospitalized for a total of eighty-two days and received a pacemaker/defibrillator on July 14. He will go on the heart transplant list in early October. Fish Fry tickets and raffle tickets available for purchase at Toliver’s Pawn Shop, Stone Fort Restaurant and Top Stop Restaurant.

Tullahoma First Baptist Church’s Morning Glories Bible study will launch a 13 lesson study of Job at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6.
