Code & Go with Jere Matty (STEM Educational Outreach Specialist Arnold AFB, AEDC/PA) will meet Wednesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. for ages 5 and up. Story Hour for children under 5 will meet with Miss Virginia as usual. We will read about trains.
Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.
Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.
Madeline Trumble was most recently seen in the 2012 Broadway production of Newsies The Musical as Katherine Plumber. She toured around the US as the title role in Mary Poppins and Wicked (as Elphaba’s Understudy and later Replacement). She has appeared in many regional theatre productions, such as Legallly Blonde, Evita, LMNOP, and The Sound of Music. In film and television, she appeared in “Sign” and “Submissions Only” as a director. She performs regularly at New York’s 54 Below.
