Old Timers Day parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7. Events through the day include

 

9 a.m. – National Anthem

10 a.m. – Parade

11 a.m. – Macy Tabor performs

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – kids and adult games

Noon – Amanda Wood performs

1 p.m. – Wild West Shootout

2 p.m. – Ice cream eating contest and kids and adult games resume

2 p.m. – Duck River Dance performs

3 pm. – East of Nowhere performs

4 p.m. – James Wrisner performs

5 p.m. – Jason Adams performs

Movie Night in the Park @ Manchester Rotary Park
Oct 7 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

A screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Rotary Park. Parks and Rec Department will also be hosting a Star Wars costume contest, so come dressed as your favorite character.

Meals are provided by Pappy’s Country Cooking. Meals are served at the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Jackson St., on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays or at Trinity Baptist, 1513 McArthur St., on the 4th Tuesday

Tullahoma Sangha @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma
Oct 11 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.

Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Christmas parade @ Manchester, Tennessee

Christmas Movie Magic parade The route goes from the Raider Academy to the Square along highways 55 and 41. Lineup is at 5 p.m. Parade will start at 6:30 p.m., with a tree lighting at 7:30 p.m. Those wanting to include a float must register and pay the $25 entry fee before Nov. 17. Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally

Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally: Coffee County Wildlife Officer, Tim Hancock and sponsors would like to invite all eligible hunters (ages 6-16) who participate in the statewide Young Sportsman Deer Hunt to the eighth annual Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the Coffee County Fairgrounds. Admission is free for all events, including lunch served beginning at 10 a.m. Successful hunters can check in their harvest at the event to be entered into a contest. Vendors will be set up to exhibit the latest in hunting outdoor products.
