Live Music at Prater’s Saturday – Sarah Pearson. BBQ buffet starting at 6 p.m.
A screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Rotary Park. Parks and Rec Department will also be hosting a Star Wars costume contest, so come dressed as your favorite character.
Manchester Coffee County Senior Center Potluck is every Monday with doors opening at 5 p.m. and music starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $2. Call 931-728-8288 for more information.

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.
Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.
Christmas Movie Magic parade The route goes from the Raider Academy to the Square along highways 55 and 41. Lineup is at 5 p.m. Parade will start at 6:30 p.m., with a tree lighting at 7:30 p.m. Those wanting to include a float must register and pay the $25 entry fee before Nov. 17. Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally: Coffee County Wildlife Officer, Tim Hancock and sponsors would like to invite all eligible hunters (ages 6-16) who participate in the statewide Young Sportsman Deer Hunt to the eighth annual Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the Coffee County Fairgrounds. Admission is free for all events, including lunch served beginning at 10 a.m. Successful hunters can check in their harvest at the event to be entered into a contest. Vendors will be set up to exhibit the latest in hunting outdoor products.
