Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.
Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.

Hospice of the Highland Rim Foundation’s first 5K Hospice Charity Run/Walk to help provide assistance for hospice patients with utility bills and food while on hospice care regardless of which hospice provider the patient chooses for end-of-life care.

A screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Rotary Park. Parks and Rec Department will also be hosting a Star Wars costume contest, so come dressed as your favorite character.
