2) Wear clothing and shoes that allow you to learn a choreography sequence
3) Cold reads from the script

If you thought you knew the story of ‘The Princess and The Pea,’ you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken’s love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar post haste? Or that, in fact, it wasn’t the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.

Tullahoma Sangha @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.


Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Marine Corps League Detachment 1128 Is holding a Philly Cheese & Fries night. The cost is $8 per meal and you will get an 8-inch Philly cheese steak with fries and a drink. All proceeds go to supporting local charities.

Fundraiser: Yard Sale for Rachel Freeze @ The Spot
May 6 all-day

A yard sale will be held at The Spot in Morrison to benefit Rachel Freeze, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3A non-small cell lung cancer. The yard sale will take place from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (sunrise to sundown), Saturday, May 6. For more information or to donate items for the sale, contact Lynn Myers at (931) 212-4122.

Our Mission is to create a commonplace for local growers, craft makers, and small businesses alike to sell products and promote services, therefore encouraging sustainability and strengthening the local economy and community morale.


Fundraiser: Noah Community Center
May 6 @ 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm

The menu will be pork or chicken barbecue, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, baked beans, dessert and drink. In addition to dinner there will be a reunion recognition, cake walk, door prizes, auction, raffle drawing and live music by the band Pot Luck. The price for adult meal tickets is $7 and $5 for those 8 years and under. Call (931) 581-2979 or (931) 394-2249 to pre-order smoked Boston Butts by April 14. Proceeds go to the upkeep of the center.
