Bites of Europe Oktoberfest @ Bites of Europe

Bites of Europe will host an Oktoberfest with arts and crafts, music, food, prizes, giveaways, a best costume contest, house-made pretzels and bratwursts with mustard onions and beer on Oct. 20 and 21. Time is 3-10 p.m. Oct. 20 and noon – 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

Senior Center Potluck @ Coffee County Senior Citizens Center

Manchester Coffee County Senior Center Potluck is every Monday with doors opening at 5 p.m. and music starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $2. Call 931-728-8288 for more information.

Hospital Auxiliary of Coffee County meeting @ Unity Medical Center

Executive Committee Meeting, discussed will be  changes in the Scholarship Policy, the upcoming Jewelry Sale fund raiser on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10, and approval of the slate of 2018 nominees presented by the nominating committee.  All officers and committee chairpersons should attend this meeting.


Hope outreach meals @ First Presbyterian Church or Trinity Baptist

Meals are provided by Pappy’s Country Cooking. Meals are served at the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Jackson St., on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays or at Trinity Baptist, 1513 McArthur St., on the 4th Tuesday

Westwood Basketball alumni game @ Westwood Middle School

Calling all Westwood Junior High and Westwood Middle School basketball and cheerleader alumni for the first ever Alumni Basketball game at Westwood Middle School’s Joel Vinson Gymnasium at 6 p.m. Oct. 24, 2017.

Team shirts will be provided for all participants.

Proceeds will benefit the WMS girls basketball program. For signups, contact Christina Norman-Young at 931-247-2506 or Amy Jones at 931-273-5780. Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the game.

Tullahoma Sangha @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.


Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.

Republican Party spaghetti dinner @ Coffee County Veterans Building

Coffee County Young Sportsman Deer Rally @ Coffee County Fairgrounds
Oct 27 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Admission is free for all events, including lunch served beginning at 10 a.m. Successful hunters can check in their harvest at the event to be entered into a contest. Vendors will be set up to exhibit the latest in hunting outdoor products. Tim Bradley, an exhibition shooter for Benelli USA, will be performing at 11 a.m.

This is a nonprofit event. All proceeds and donations are used to conduct this event.

Southern gala dinner & dance @ Manchester Coffee County Conference Center

Southern Gala Dinner & Dance, a fundraiser for the Coffee County Senior Citizens, will be Friday, Oct. 27. Contact 931-954-0730 for tickets.

Doors open at 5 p.m.and dinner is served at 6 p.m.

Entertainment is by Jamie Harden’s Ultimate Oldies.

For dinner: Southern Style Green Beans; fresh baked yeast rolls/ chef’s house salad; stuffed chicken breasts; array of pie and cobblers.

Tickets are $40 apiece.
