Santa Claus visiting @ Suncrest Home Health

Suncrest Home Health will welcome Santa from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 12. All are welcome to stop by for cocoa and apple cider.

CHS 30 and a Turkey Baseball Camp @ Coffee County Central High School - Powers Field

Central High School’s Red Raider baseball team will host its 2nd annual 30 N Turkey baseball camp Saturday, Nov. 12 at the school – from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. – with part of the proceeds helping local families in need with a better Thanksgiving.

The team is hosting the camp in conjunction with Spring Street Market and Al White Motors.

According to CHS head baseball coach David Martin, the camp will cover baseball fundamentals such as fielding, throwing, hitting and base running.

The camp’s instructors will include former professional and Division 1 baseball players, a national champion college coach and current Red Raider baseball players.

The camp cost is $30 plus a $10 minimum voucher which can be purchased from Spring Street Market – 801 S. Spring St. in Manchester. The $10 voucher and $30 sign-up fee will be due at sign-in before camp begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 12. The vouchers will be delivered to local food banks for supplies to help less fortunate families enjoy Thanksgiving.

According to Martin, the goal is to help at least 100 area families through donations.

Sign-ups begin Oct. 31 on the Coffee County Baseball Facebook page and campers will also be able to sign-up the day of camp beginning at 9 a.m. at the Crethan Hansert Memorial Hitting Facility, located behind Powers Field at Central High School.

Campers are encouraged to bring their personal baseball equipment and tennis shoes for the gymnasium sessions. Bats can be provided for hitting if campers do not have their own.

Manchester meets Bethel Bluegrass event

Domestic Violence Investigation Seminar/Workshop @ UTSI

UTSI will host a Seminar/Workshop on Domestic Violence Investigations from November 15-18 at UT Space Institute in Room H-111. Those allowed to attend are anyone affiliated with law enforcement domestic violence investigations both pre- and post-incident (i.e. police, victim advocates, district attorneys, counselors, and correction officers, etc…) and is free to attendees.

Non profit expo @ Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center
