Boo Run Run @ Manchester Parks and Recreation

The third annual Boo Run Run will be Oct. 14. Registration is $35 and includes post race entertainment. Race registration includes shirt, one drink ticket, food and music. Senior Center Potluck @ Coffee County Senior Citizens Center

Hope outreach meals @ First Presbyterian Church or Trinity Baptist

Meals are provided by Pappy’s Country Cooking. Meals are served at the First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Jackson St., on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays or at Trinity Baptist, 1513 McArthur St., on the 4th Tuesday

Tullahoma Sangha @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.


Project Management Institute luncheon @ University of Tennessee Space Institute

The guest speaker will be Roger Waldrep, PMP. Waldrep is a general manager for TVA focusing on decommissioning operations. He will be presenting “How TVA implements project management processes,” and how it was used in the development and execution of the project to construct the Paradise Combined Cycle plant in Drakesboro, Kentucky.

Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Bites of Europe Oktoberfest @ Bites of Europe

Bites of Europe will host an Oktoberfest with arts and crafts, music, food, prizes, giveaways, a best costume contest, house-made pretzels and bratwursts with mustard onions and beer on Oct. 20 and 21. Time is 3-10 p.m. Oct. 20 and noon – 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.
