Hiring event @ Marcum Building

Tennessee’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development will be holding a hiring event in Tullahoma on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

According to Mitchell D. Norton, Veterans Employment Representative, the event will take place at the Marcum Building at 410 Wilson Ave. from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Participating employers in the event will be Tyson Foods, Walmart Distribution Center, Yorozu, Great Lake Cheese of TN, Century Mold, Up Dish Satellite Communications, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Corsicana Bedding, National Pen, JSP International, Calsonic, TN Army National Guard, Schneider Transportation, TDOT, Whelan Security, Advance Auto Parts, TN College of Applied Technology, Bridgestone, Arnold Air Force Base Services, Miniature Precision Components, and Yates Services.

Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Foothills Christmas Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday Nov. 12 at the Manchester-Coffee county Conference Center. Admission and parking are free. Offered are crafts, artwork and jewelry from exhibitors across the region.

Amazing Family Night @ Manchester Recreation Complex

The Manchester Recreation Center will have its monthly Amazing Family Night from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 11 with the theme of “Reduce Tobacco Use in Coffee County.” The event is sponsored by Tennessee Department of Health – admission is 100% free. Free healthy snacks, use of gym and walking track, use of youth wellness room and swimming in the indoor pool.
