North Coffee Volunteer FD chili supper @ Noah Community Center

Chili Fundraiser: North Coffee Volunteer Fire Department will hold an all-you-can-eat chili and beef stew fundraiser from 4:30-6:30 p.m., March 4 at the Noah Community Center. Meals are $7 for adults or $3 for children 12 and under and carryout bowls are available. Also at the event will be live music, a cakewalk and auction. The NCVFD needs cakes and pies for the cakewalk.

Senior Center Potluck @ Coffee County Senior Citizens Center

The CCCHS Lady Raider softball team will be hosting a benefit play day in support of former CHS coach Terry Floyd. The play day will be played amongst 10 teams at both Coffee County Central and Tullahoma High School.

Tennessee Ornithological Society meeting @ Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville

Tennessee Ornithological Society:  Highland Rim Chapter to meet Tuesday, March 7 at the First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville.  The business meeting will commence at 6 pm with light refreshments at 6:30 and a talk at 7:00 by Archaeologist Travis Rael.  Also, on March 25 at Tims Ford State Park, there will be birding activities starting at 10 am at the park Visitor’s Center, and lasting all day until an evening owl prowl.  Visitors are welcome at both events.  For directions or carpool information contact club president Lisa Trail at 728-6045.

Tullahoma Sangha @ Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.

Political meeting: Indivisible, the nationwide group, organized to resist the Trump agenda in Congress will have its Coffee County meeting at 5 p.m., Wednesday March 15 at Gondola Steak & Pizza in Tullahoma. The meeting proper starts at 6 p.m.

Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center
