The route goes from the Raider Academy to the Square along highways 55 and 41. Lineup is at 5 p.m. Parade will start at 6:30 p.m., with a tree lighting at 7:30 p.m. Those wanting to include a float must register before Nov. 13. Entries are free.

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.
Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.

The sheriff noted that the department will be accepting donations to the Sheriff’s Christmas Charity Fund.
The department is seeking unwrapped toys, nonperishable food, hygiene products and monetary donations; however, donations are not required to tour the jail.
The sheriff’s department employees will be helping Santa as they distribute items to those in need later in December.
