The menu will be pork or chicken barbecue, potato salad, coleslaw, chips, baked beans, dessert and drink. In addition to dinner there will be a reunion recognition, cake walk, door prizes, auction, raffle drawing and live music by the band Pot Luck. Manchester Coffee County Senior Center Potluck is every Monday with doors opening at 5 p.m. and music starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $2. Call 931-728-8288 for more information.
Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, will meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma. The service consists of zazen (meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), and a short lesson and discussion. Newcomers are welcome and asked to call ahead for a short lesson and orientation at 5:45 p.m. before the service.
Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.
The Manchester and Coffee County Senior Center hosts a $6.50 breakfast on the second Saturday of every month – all ages are welcome. All money will benefit the senior center. For more information, contact Diane at 931-723-8288
There will be a softball/cornhole tournament to benefit former CHS softball coach Terry Floyd’s liver transplant.
The softball tournament has two divisions – fun and competitive – with an entry team of $150 per team.
The cornhole tournament has an entry fee of $20 per team.
There will also be food and t-shirts for sale.
