Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.
Items such as clothing, jewelry, scarves and more will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the auxiliary’s community service projects and scholarships.
The Manchester and Coffee County Senior Center hosts a $6.50 breakfast on the second Saturday of every month – all ages are welcome. All money will benefit the senior center. For more information, contact Diane at 931-723-8288
The “30 N Turkey” baseball camp will hosted by the Coffee County Central High School baseball team on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at CCHS.
Players of all ages are welcome, including tee ball, with the camp covering basic baseball skills.
Sign-ups are available on the team’s Facebook page – Coffee County Baseball – and will run up to the day of camp.
The cost is $30 per person, with a $10 minimum voucher that can be purchased from Spring Street Market (801 South Spring Street) in Manchester.
Vouchers will be delivered to local food banks to help support less fortunate families for the Thanksgiving holiday. The remaining proceeds will help the CCHS baseball program for the upcoming season.
Michigan based author/songwriter Bill Jamerson will present a music and storytelling program about the Civilian Conservation Corps.
