Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.

Little Squirts swimming lessons @ Manchester Recreation Complex

Little Squirts is a swim lesson program designed to teach toddlers swimming and water safety skills. The program will start on Thursday, Dec. 1 and end on Tuesday, Feb. 28. No registration is required. Classes are offered every Monday and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $3 per class for members of the recreation complex and $5 for non-members.

Elementary Basketball championships and cheer exhibition @ Coffee County High School

The elementary basketball league cheerleading exhibition will begin at 11 a.m.

 

The girls championships game between Westwood and New Union will be at noon and the boys championship between Westwood and College Street will begin at approximately 1 p.m.

Open house: Duck River Dance @ Duck River Dance's new studio

Duck River Dance is expanding into a new studio in the former Fiddlestyx building  at 121 E. Main St.
The new studio includes a nearly 1,000 sq. ft. dance floor, dancers’ lounge, improved lobby space, dressing rooms and more.

Senior Center Potluck @ Coffee County Senior Citizens Center

Manchester Coffee County Senior Center Potluck is every Monday with doors opening at 5 p.m. and music starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $2. Call 931-728-8288 for more information.
