Pocahontas Community Center Music Night @ Pocahontas Community Center

Pocahontas Music Night is at 5 p.m. Every Thursday at the community center – 1940 Pocahontas Rd. Morrison, Tenn. It is open to all musicians and singers. All proceeds go to the center. Call Ray at 615-765-7835 for more information.

Blue Jean and Goblin Ball Dance

The Blue Jean and Goblin Ball Dance will be held in Shelbyville’s Fly Art Center, 204 S. Main St. from 7-11 p.m., Oct. 28 with music provided by Chase Clanton and the Vintage Vibes Band. Country Ham Breakfast will be from 7-10 a.m., Oct. 29 at the Shady Grove Community Center, 5261 Shady Grove Rd., Morrison

Tickets are Adults $6, children 6 and under $3. Proceeds going towards upkeep of community center.

Hickerson Hustle 5K @ Hickerson Elementary School

We are excited to invite everyone to participate in our 5k run/walk!
Funds raised from this event will be split 50/50 between Hickerson Elementary and Compass Ministries. Hickerson will use the funds to upgrade our basketball court to ensure our children have an adequate play space to be active. Compass Ministries will utilize the funds to assist Rutledge Falls Church in continuation of the backpack program that sends food home over the weekend with many of our students.

Murder Mystery Dinner Show, Deadly Ever After: A Fatal Fairytale @ Coffee County Central High School

The Coffee County Central High School criminal justice program will hold a murder mystery dinner show, Deadly Ever After: A Fatal Fairytale, at 6 p.m. Pct. 29 at the school commons area. Tickets are $15 each and $25 per couple. Tickets available at the CHS front office. Call 931-723-5159 for more information.


Meal will be provided by CHS culinary arts students.

Safe on the Square Trick-or-Treating @ Downtown Square

The annual Safe on the Square trick-or-treating event will be held 2:30-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 on the Manchester square and at surrounding businesses.
