The Central High School softball squad demolished White County at Sparta Thursday night, 11-0.
Sophomore Bricen Hunt allowed only three hits and struck out 11 in a complete game cut short after five innings by the run rule. Hunt is now 9-2 for the year with 91 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched.
Leading the run production for Coffee County was Anna Spellings with 2 runs and 3 RBIs on 3 hits, including a double and a home run. Hunt and Alaina Lusk each had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Lusk scored 2 runs and shortstop Ginny Clayborne scored 3 runs and smacked adouble.
Coffee County also continued showing improvement in the field with no errors commmited.
The Lady Raiders record is now 17-6 overall and 5-2 in District 6-AAA.
