A Lynchburg woman has pleaded guilty to theft of money from the Lynchburg Little League and the Moore County Youth Football League.

Sandy Holdmeyer of the Old Fayetteville Highway entered a guilty plea before Moore County Circuit Court Judge Lee Russell last Wednesday. She was given a three-year sentence to be served on supervised probation,

She was ordered to reimburse $4,586.23 to the Little League and $7,879 to the football league. As part of her plea agreement Holdmeyer is to begin making the payments in August. She was also ordered not to hold any position, paid or volunteer, with access to money or to an employer’s bank account.

Holdmeyer was indicted last April by the Moore County grand jury on the theft charges. The indictments allege that she took the money from the football league between April 2012 and January 2013.

She allegedly took the money from the Little League between March 2012 and March 2013.
