The Manchester “Under the Christmas Tree” Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, according to Joy Ballard with the Manchester Mayor’s office. Lineup is set to begin at 5 p.m.
The parade was originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, but Manchester Mayor Lonnie Norman announced shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday that the parade would be postponed due to rainy weather.
The parade lineup will affect traffic along State Route 55 near the intersection of U.S. 41 and the parade route will block traffic on 41 North and severely slow traffic moving South on 41. Traffic along N. Spring St. on the downtown square will also be blocked during the parade.
Questions should be directed to Ballard at the mayor’s office – 931-728-4652 ext. 1100
