A Coffee County Central High School graduate who used one season of eligibility at Volunteer State two years ago, Clayborne carefully considered his options during the summer, ultimately choosing to be part of a new era in Mot-low College basketball.

“I’m a small-town guy, and I really love living here,” said Clayborne. “Not knowing what direction Motlow was going in basketball, I had to consider all of my options.

Clayborne, a 6-3 guard, was named to the all-District 6-AAA first team as a Coffee County High School senior fol-lowing the 2010-11 season.
