Local franchisee, Bhumik Patel, will open the sub and sandwich shop Which Wich in Morrison next month.
Chain representative Dustin Griffiths discussed the opening, expressing the company’s excitement at moving into lower Middle Tennessee.
“We are excited to be joining the Morrison community. It will be our first store in the market in the greater Manchester area,” he said by phone.
Which Wich locations are in Murfreesboro and in Chattanooga.
“We feel that filling in along Highway 55, just east of Interstate 24, is the right fit for us.”
The shop will be what is called an endcap on a new convenience store near Bridgestone.
“It will be attached to the building, but it will have its own entrance and signage,” Griffiths said.
“Ideally, we are looking at a unit in Manchester at some point. The thing we really like about Morrison is that you have some really good employers there, Yorozu Automotive and the Bridgestone location.
“We like being right off Highway 55 and servicing not only the community, but the people who traverse that highway traveling some of the larger cities in Tennessee.”
Which Wich is a relative newcomer to the sub shop market. It was founded in 2003 by restaurant entrepreneur Jeff Sinelli.
Which Wich offers a full line of hot and cold subs, wraps and sandwiches, using a unique checked-marked bag ordering system. Which Wich currently has 500 locations open or in development in 39 states and 12 countries. The Morrison location will be at 7824 Manchester Highway.
