Town supports family as son's rehab begins

Cody Holder, a 14-year-old Manchester resident and upcoming freshman baseball player at Coffee County Central High School, took a dive into the swimming pool at his home on Monday, June 22 that left him with a broken neck.
He was airlifted to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, where he underwent a long and grueling surgical procedure on Wednesday, June 24.
On Tuesday, he was transported to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where his long rehabilitation begins.
According to his father, Mark Holder, around 3 p.m. Monday Cody dove into the above ground pool at his home and fractured the C5 vertebrae of his spinal cord after colliding with the wall and bottom.....
