State says TCAP security violations occurred

The Tennessee Department of Education has determined that violations of testing security did occur during the preparation for the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) writing assessment of the Coffee County Central High Schoolfs junior class, Principal Mary Duvall said last week.

As a result, the state has recommended that the school administration "nullify" the TCAP writing assessment of tenured teacher Rebecca Faithfs third, fourth and fifth period English III classes and non-tenured teacher Kristy McClanahanfs English III third period class, Duvall said.
