The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an incident on Interstate 24 early Monday that ended in death by suicide of one man and the injury by gunshot of two women occupants in the vehicle. Manchester man killed in Thursday night crash

A Manchester man died late Thursday night after being involved in a single-vehicle crash on Parker Road in Coffee County. According to a report by Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper Tommy Lyles, at approximately 11:45 p.m. Jonathan Micah Esslinger, 30, of Manchester was driving a 2007 Nissan Titan pickup along Parker Road when he failed to negotiate a curve.     A Manchester man was arrested over the weekend and charged with a litany of crimes, including kidnapping. Michael Allen Davis, 65, of Miller Lane, Manchester, was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and kidnapping involving two people on Murfreesboro Highway. Coffee County Commission says ‘no’ to ticket scalping

The Coffee County Commission passed a resolution Tuesday night (May 12) it claims is aimed primarily at addressing traffic and safety concerns around the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The resolution outlaws the public resale of event tickets and other forms of admission, such as access bracelets sold at Bonnaroo.
