Mr. Don Anderson passed away Monday, April 15, 2013. Don was born July 8, 1934 at his home in Hillsboro to the late Abb and Willie Jean Phillips Anderson. He graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1953 and married his high school sweetheart, Cleta May Chambers. In earlier years, he owned and operated Mid-State Radiator & Auto A/C Service in Tullahoma for 34 years. He retired in 2007 and spent his time gardening, canning, fishing and enjoying the view of the Mountains in Henry’s Cove.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Cleta May Chambers Anderson; a brother, Dewey Anderson and a sister, Virginia (Anderson) Moore. He is survived by his two sons, Donny (Linda) Anderson of Manchester, Stephen (Erin) Anderson of Thompsons Station; one brother, Kenneth Anderson of Hillsboro; sister, Shirley (Jimmy) Driver of Beechgrove; Grandchildren, Christopher (Brandy) Anderson of Ocala, FL, Hollyn (Adam) Clark of Manchester; Casey and Autumn Anderson of Thompsons Station; and two Great-Grandchildren, Adalyn May and Landon Riley Clark; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation was on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Billy G.BUCKNER, age 79 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on April 16, 2013 at the Medical Center of Manchester. He was a well-known Salesman at the Coffee Farmers Co-op where he served for over 53 years of dedicated service. Billy was born in Hillsboro, Tennessee to his parents, the late Gilbert F. Buckner and Essie Dotson Buckner. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Finis Malcom Buckner and James Alton Buckner; sisters, Joyce Marie Buckner Parsons and Doris June Buckner and brother-in-law, Joe Bill Myers, Sr. Billy will be fondly remembered as a one who really enjoyed life, being with his family and friends, meeting and talking with people, trading for knives or any other item someone might have or want, fishing, gardening and yard work. He is survived by his wife, Theona Rogers Buckner of Manchester, TN; sons, Billy Trent Buckner and his wife Tammy of Tullahoma, TN and James Terry Wilson and his wife Lisa of Tullahoma, TN; six grandchildren, Daniel Buckner and Jonathan Buckner both of Manchester, Brittany Wilson, Jamie Webb, Jordan Allen and Jennifer Webb all of Tullahoma; two great-grandchildren, Kenya Buckner and Brody Wilson; sisters, JoAnne Buckner Myers of Tullahoma, TN and Glenda Sue Buckner Duke (Roy) of Manchester, TN; brothers, Bobby Buckner (Linda) of Manchester, TN and Buford Buckner (Betty Jo) of Hillsboro, TN; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Herlong, age 81, of Manchester, will be conducted at 3:30 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Gary Nester and Bob Ewell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24 at the funeral home. Mr. Herlong passed away Sunday evening at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Herlong was born in South Carolina, the son of the late Ulysses and Agnes Bates Herlong. He was retired from Colonial Corp of America as a plant manager. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing. He also loved his two little dogs, Molly and Missy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Herlong was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Herlong, one brother, Ulysses Herlong, Jr. and one sister, Dorothy Ann Hair. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Herlong of Manchester; his son, Charles Herlong of Manchester; two sisters, Carolyn Crider of Columbia, SC and Lula Way of Orangeburg, SC; and several nieces and nephews. WRIGHT, Newton W., age 74 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on April 15, 2013 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Wright, or “Newt” as he was known by family and friends, was a retired Aerospace Engineer serving at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) and the University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) and a United States Air Force Veteran. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN to his parents, the late Edward Franklin Wright and Mary Cunningham Wright. He is survived by his wife, Eva Sharron Wright of Manches-ter, TN; daughter, Sarena Wright-Cunningham; son, Edward Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.
