Raider Academy Spotlight

Posted on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 3:09 pm

This week the Coffee County Raider Academy would like to recognize Colby Thurmond as an outstanding freshman. He represents the best at CCRA.

Thurmond is always smiling and happy. He speaks to everyone and is always willing to help anyone out. No task is too big to ask of him. He is everything you would want a student to be.

Thurmond is the son of Phillip and Kathy Thurmond. He comes to CCRA from the New Union community. At CCRA he works hard and is focused on getting good grades, he is also on the Coffee County Bass Club. This past Saturday he took 11th place in a fishing tournament in Kentucky.

When not in school, Thurmond enjoys hunting and fishing.

After high school he wants to go to become a game warden after attending a four year college.

CCRA is proud to have Colby Thurmand as the student of the week. Congratulations, from all the Faculty and Staff at CCRA.
