The Central High School Red Raiders won their fourth straight district baseball contest Tuesday night by defeating White County 6-1 at Sparta.
Peyton Meeker hit Coffee County’s first home run of the season with a solo shot. Tyler Cavender also had a big night at the plate.
Kyle Douglas pitched a complete game for his third win of the season.
The Red Raiders are now 5-5 in District 6-AAA and have won their last four district contests. Coffee County is still in the running to finish second in the district behind Cookeville, which has already clinched first place.
CHS is now 8-18 overall. Friday and Saturday the Red Raiders play non-district tilts in the Trojan Classic at Soddy Daisy and Ooltewah.
